Facial Peels
Procedure
Depending on your specific case, the peel is performed under twilight sleep or a light general anesthetic. In all cases,
the superficial sensory nerves to the face are numbred using a long-acting local anesthetic to prevent discomfort during
and following the procedure. (You will not feel this at all). The skin is then prepared and the specialized solution expertly
applied. Afterward, icy compresses and special ointments are applied.
The first day, your skin will have a reddish hue and you may experience some slight to moderate stinging or burning.
The doctor's Formula or a soothing, healing ointment, will be applied before you leave the office. You will also be given
a supply to take home with you, and it may be reapplied as needed to alleviate dryness or discomfort.
